Club Events & Activities

North Montour Sportsmen’s Association hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year, including organized shoots, hunting events, youth programs, and community fundraisers. Events are open to members and, where noted, to guests.

Our events emphasize safety, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the outdoors for participants of all experience levels.

Featured Annual Events

Kettle Cook

A long-standing club tradition and community favorite. Proceeds support club operations and maintenance.

 

Ladies Day Out

A special event focused on education and participation in archery, handgun, shotgun, and .22 rifle shooting in a supportive environment.

 

Junior Pheasant Hunt

An annual youth event designed to introduce young hunters to safe, ethical hunting practices.

 

Club Meetings

  • Held on the first Wednesday of each month

  • Meeting begins at 7:00 P.M.

Members are encouraged to attend and participate in club decision-making.

Youth & Educational Programs

North Montour Sportsmen’s Association is proud to support youth education through programs such as:

  • 4-H Shotgun

  • 4-H .22 Rifle

  • 4-H Archery

  • Youth Field Day

  • Hunter & Trapper Education

Our organized shooting and hunting events include:

  • Eye and ear protection is required where applicable.

  • Please remain attentive to signage indicating active shooting areas.

  • Directions from event organizers and range officers must be followed at all times.
